Bubbling brooks, the tinkling of cow bells, whistling marmots – there’s something to marvel at around every corner. Whether paths, which are suitable for baby strollers, alpine pastures or the first summit experiences for young and old – in and around Maranza there are all kinds of things to discover.

  • Huts round hike through the Altfass valley (suitable for baby strollers)
    Tip: Stop at the Pranter-Stadl hut with its large children’s playground.
  • Maranza’s panoramic alpine hut circuit
    Tip: Start directly from the Familiamus roof terrace
  • Reach Rio di Pusteria and walk on the legendary Linden-path from Maranza.
    Tip: Tired feet? Simply shorten the way back with the cable car.
  • Adventure Park Jochtal with cool stations
    Tip: Build your own rock cairn
  • First summit experience tour to the Astjoch (2.194 m)
    Tip: We are talking about the most picturesque place for a picnic!

  • Hiking tour to the romantic Puntleider Lake near Grasstein
    Tip: The most beautiful viewpoints can be found on the western shore of the lake.
  • Pleasure hike to the Gitsch hut
    Tip: Taste the summit schnaps and conquer the Gitschberg peak (2,510 m)
  • Enjoy the idylliac landscape from the spacious Villanderer hut
    Tip: take a picnic blanket with you and let the view take its effect
  • Mountain tour to the Seefeld peak (2.715 m)
    Tip: also visit the middle and small Seefeld lakes
  • Rotenstein high trail at the Fane hut in Valles
    Tip: Snack on the alpine cheese and descend via the Milchsteig- trail
